What Do We Want to See?

A world in which social and environmental sustainability becomes a true business engine

What Do We Want to Do?

Build inclusive prosperity in Latin America by:

Accelerating growth of purpose-driven entrepreneurs.

Advocating for social innovation in traditional small businesses that are growing.

ultivating entrepreneurship ecosystems based on collaborative action and impact.
Our Approach

We lead the transformation of growing small businesses and endeavor to make social entrepreneurs gain visibility.

We seek to help them become positive impact drivers, and support their journey towards economic, social and environmental sustainability.

Data and Technology

We foster and facilitate access to technologies that enable data sharing and that create associations in a decentralized, safe and transparent manner, among growing companies, and business and financing partners.

Capacity Building

We build capabilities for growing businesses, focused on organizational, financial, operational, and management efficiency and effectiveness. We support the implementation of social and environmental innovations in their models.

Market Outreach

We help growing businesses tap into new markets, through our private-sector partners (such as retailers, ecommerce sites and marketplaces), seeking to support their international and local expansion.

Access to Financing

In collaboration with financing actors, fintechs, investors, non-banking institutions, microfinance companies and banks, we strive to secure friendly financing for growing small businesses.

Our Pillars

Impact Scaling-up

Impact is at the core of everything we do. We serve impact entrepreneurs and traditional small businesses that are growing to help them embrace social and environmental innovation in their business models.

Best-in-class Program Offering

We embrace ongoing improvement in the execution of our programs to influence the business success of our community in a verifiable manner.

Collaborative Action

We partner with private-sector business support organizations and with other ecosystem's players, as we recognize that no single company has created the challenges that we face today and that no single company can work them out on its own either. We drive collaboration all across Latin America, for Latin America.

Regional Expansion

We get involved in the regional expansion of the Latin American entrepreneurship ecosystem by means of associations that combine the local context with regional networks and methodologies.

Our History

Foundation of Agora Partnerships

Agora Partnerships was founded in 2005 by the entrepreneurs Ben Powell and Ricardo T. Teran, on the belief that society needs to support more people willing to build responsible businesses that address social challenges and that create economic opportunities impacting their communities.
