Partnerships in Mexico

In 2023, we formed an alliance with Mario Romero, Director of Impact Hub DF.

This partnership aims to amplify our impact and represents an opportunity to expand our reach in Mexico through the creation of projects and new opportunities for more entrepreneurs to access knowledge, market outreach, and tools that enable them to grow, consolidate in the market, and positively impact their environment.

WeCount

We seek to catalyze the productivity, environmental, and social sustainability of Small and Growing Businesses (SGBs) women-led.

We Count: Grow, Impact, Share

We Count was co-designed and financed by Agora Partnerships, BID Lab, and We-Fi, along with key contributors such as Hispanics in Philanthropy, Target Foundation, and Cisco Foundation, to benefit 4,000 women entrepreneurs, including 1,000 Mexican women entrepreneurs.

The program helps women entrepreneurs grow their businesses sustainably, generate positive impact in their communities and address the most important challenges of their businesses in collaboration with their teams and other key actors in the entrepreneurial ecosystem.

WeCount is designed for women entrepreneurs to see tangible results during the program. We want them not only to learn, but also to be able to apply and implement everything they learn in their business.

Previous Outstanding Programs

Women Propelling Mexico

Executed in 2021, Women Propelling Mexico empowered the productivity and sustainability of small, impactful, and growing Mexican businesses, primarily led by women, through capacity building, market outreach, and access to financing to further improve the quality of life of vulnerable populations.

Forming Catalysts

First executed in 2019, Forming Catalysts prepared leaders and educators in the application of the Agora methodology to achieve greater impact in supporting entrepreneurs. We trained over 40 members of the Young Leaders of the Americas Initiative (YLAI) network during a three-day intensive workshop in Mexico City.

Our Impact in Mexico

We are committed to transparency towards entrepreneurs and the entrepreneurship ecosystem in Mexico by aligning us with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals.
